Last Wednesday the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles welcomed their new novices: (left to right)
Sister Grace of Christ the King, OCD – representing Our Lady of Grace and in Honor of His Majesty, Sister Josephine of the Most Sacred Heart, OCD – in honor of St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, and Sister Maria Rose of Bethany, OCD – representing Mary of Bethany.
Our Lady of the Hills celebrates the joy of Tina and Chuck Stodola, parishioners, who welcomed their daughter as Sister Josephine of the Most Sacred Heart, OCD. Our Parish is proud of the courage and determination of Sr. Josephine and applaud her dedication to her faith and God.
Our prayers are with all of the novices as they begin this new phase of formation. May all of the novices walk in faith, confident in His presence beside them. May His abundant blessings always be upon them in their service to Him.
