Easter Sunday

The Lord is truly risen, alleluia! To him be glory and power for all ages of eternity, alleluia, alleluia!” Yes we sing the praises of the Risen Lord today and all during the Easter season because he has conquered sin and death and promises us a share in his victory if we remain faithful and true to him and his words. What a glorious day this is; let us rejoice and be glad!

Picture1All are invited to the Hour of Mercy, a Holy Hour, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at St. Anthony Church next Sunday (April 12) which is Divine Mercy Sunday. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed and Confessions will be heard during the Holy Hour. Devotion to the Divine Mercy can transform our lives by drawing us ever closer to Jesus. With the help of God’s grace we can place our confidence in Jesus and show more patience, compassion and mercy to everyone we meet.
